Payment Link

Glomo enables you to create and share payment links with your customers using the dashboard or APIs to collect payments. You can add details such as the amount, set an expiry date, and upload compliance documents to generate the payment link. Once created, the link can be shared with customers through your preferred communication channels; email sharing is provided by default.

The payment link is hosted by Glomo and is only accessible after 1FA authentication to the customer. The link will be accessible to the customer until it expires and you will be notified once the customer completes the payment.


A payment link can have the following states:

Active The payment link has been created but the end customer has not paid.
Paid End customer has fully paid the payment link.
Expired The payment link was not paid by the customer and the link has expired.
Partially Paid Customer has partially paid the payment link.
Cancelled The link has been cancelled by the merchant.

Below are the steps that are required to create a payment link :-

Login to your Glomo dashboard

Click on the Request Payment button

Enter the customer details you want to collect money from

Enter the amount and other payment information

Review the information and click on submit to generate the link.
